Unit One: Risk and Into Thin Air

The Risk Unit of our English curriculum focuses on how both the actions and inactions we take shape the world around us.  In this unit, we will be answering questions related to our responsibilities with nature, our understanding of how and where we fit into the world, and the consequences associated with risk.  For this unit, students are expected to read Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer and understand its relationship with both nature and risk.
