The Leadership Unit of our English curriculum focuses on how people rise to and maintain power.  In this unit, we will be answering questions related to our responsibilities as citizens, the power that diction and propaganda has over the masses, and to what means we would be willing to go to to preserve "the greater good."  For this unit, students are expected to read Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare and understand its historical significance as well as its modern relevance.
