The Cultural Perspectives Unit of our English curriculum focuses on the common struggles present in diverse cultures.  In this unit, we will be answering questions related to the values of other cultures, the importance of understanding various cultures, and the ways in which people are similar despite coming from different cultures.  For this unit, students are expected to read A Separate Peace by John Knowles and understand its historical perspective as well as its modern relevance.
